- The Graphics panel is now a chat with an AI director. Describe the graphic in your own words and attach files if you like: it plans the scene, the camera, the light and the timing, then shows three previews to pick from. Follow-ups continue the same thread.
- Maps you direct: light them by day, golden hour, dusk, blue hour, night with city lights, or in the studio, and zoom in on a city, pull out along the route and push into the next, with up to 12 camera shots.
- Landmark photos from your library sit on their city, such as India Gate on New Delhi and the Eiffel Tower on Paris, and each one can be nudged by hand.
- 29 chart types chosen to fit your data, from bars, lines and donuts to funnels, waterfalls, slopes, heatmaps, bar races and treemaps, each checked so it cannot mislead.
- Infographics built from parts instead of templates: cards, shapes, arrows that state the change between two numbers, counters and icons, laid out again for phone-shaped videos.
- Titles and counters follow your words: a number counts up and lands as you say it, and text stays readable over the video, a map or a photo.
- Over 13,000 icons from Lucide, Phosphor, Heroicons, Font Awesome Free and Tabler, found by a search on your Mac. When a graphic uses a Font Awesome icon, its credit is added to the export notes, and you can save a credits.txt next to the video.
- Attach images, SVG, CSV, Excel, JSON, PDF, Word or text files: tables become charts and documents give the director its facts. Files are read on your Mac in a locked-down reader, and a scanned PDF is read with OCR only after you click and see the price.
- Pictures made for you: the director can generate an image or a cut-out with the OpenRouter image model you choose (Nano Banana by default). It asks before it spends, checks each image, and saves it to your library. Cut out background on a library image is free and runs on your Mac.
- Every paid step shows its price first, with limits of $0.50 a message and $3 a day that you can change in Settings → AI Director, next to the text, vision and image models.
- Starting points for maps, titles, charts and infographics are free and work offline: pick one from Start from, then direct it by chat.
- Edit the video from the same chat: describe a cut, zoom, caption or layout change, review the plan, then apply it as one undo step. The Creative AI box and the Map, Title and Chart buttons now live in this chat.
- The Director section of a selected graphic shows its beats, camera shots and layers on a timeline, with pickers for images, icons, colours and timing. These edits are free and never call the AI.
- Graphics from earlier betas open, play and export exactly as before.
