- A new home screen: under “Let’s create something”, paste a YouTube or video link, attach files, pick a model and a brand kit, describe the edit, or press Record. Cutscript downloads the video, creates the project, transcribes it and sends your request to the AI, whose edits arrive as cards you apply.
- Enhance voice in the new Audio section, for recordings, imported videos and audio files: Apple Voice Isolation, the built-in clean-up, or ElevenLabs and fal.ai when you have their keys, with Strength, Polish and an Original/Enhanced switch. Your media never changes, and the cleaned copy keeps every word exactly where it was.
- Split the main recording and drag its pieces. The main track magnet (P) keeps pieces closed up; turn it off to place pieces freely and leave gaps, which show as “Gap 2.0 s” in the script. Trim a piece from either edge, ⌥W inserts a gap and ⌘B splits.
- The recording’s picture and sound stay linked, with a Linked selection switch and ⌥-click to pick one side. Right-click Unlink audio (⌘L) to move the dialogue on its own, and a badge offers Move into sync when it drifts.
- Drag on an empty part of the timeline to select a range, and the script highlights the same words.
- Premiere-style tracks: picture tracks stack above the recording and sound tracks below it, and each group’s + adds tracks in its own direction. The Notes lane is now called Graphics.
- Drag and resize blur, boxes, images, text, graphics, captions and the webcam right on the preview, with snapping guides, Shift to keep the shape and arrow keys to nudge.
- Tracking blur: press Track and a blur follows a moving face, window or email address, with corrections on any frame. Blur all faces and Blur all emails find them and blur them for you on a Mac.
- Graphics play smoothly in the preview instead of waiting until you stop.
- Audio-only projects get a canvas: pick an aspect and a background, add text, graphics, captions and images, and export a video.
- Burned-in captions fit portrait and square exports and match the preview.
- Graphics, projects and chats from earlier betas open, play and export exactly as before.
