What’s new in 0.1 beta 6

Version 0.1.0-beta.6

  • On Rich and Standard the director now storyboards first: it plans a supporting picture, shows you the card, makes and checks the picture, and only then builds the scene with it. If it skips the pictures anyway, it asks itself once more for a storyboard that has them.
  • When the image model wrongly refuses a harmless picture as copyrighted, the director tries once more with a more specific description, within your caps.
  • Charts never draw one row on top of another: when a chart has too little room, it grows or drops its footnote instead of squeezing its rows together.
  • A group that fades out now takes everything inside it along, so a chart can no longer appear over logos that should have left.
  • The VS badge in a versus is sized to hold the centre beside the two logos, and a light sweep can be aimed at a logo or one part of the scene.
  • Editing a graphic keeps the numbers you gave it, and a follow-up such as “warmer light” changes the current graphic instead of starting a new one.
  • The price beside Send only asks you to confirm when a message could really go over your cap, and it matches the check made when you press Send.
  • Paused and reduced-motion previews show a graphic’s final numbers, not a count still running.
  • The director’s own check looks at settled frames and checks its revision again before it reports.
  • In tall 9:16 frames, cards in one row share one layout, and a news line no longer runs into a logo.
  • Graphics from earlier betas open, play and export exactly as before.
