What’s new in 0.1 beta 7

Version 0.1.0-beta.7

  • A new AI director designs every graphic from scratch in real web design code: real typography, gradients, grain, 3D, maps, charts and motion, instead of arranging a fixed kit of parts.
  • Each design follows your storyboard, uses the pictures the director makes for it, checks itself for overlaps, safe areas, contrast and numbers that do not match your data, then looks at its own frames and improves them before you see it, with three variants to choose from.
  • Edit a design without the AI: its texts, colours, numbers, pictures and timing appear as a form in the right sidebar, and clicking a word in the preview jumps to its field. You can also open its code, change it and apply.
  • A Design pack of 32 ready-made designs in the Graphics panel, from kinetic titles and lower thirds to a night flight map, a versus, a leaderboard race and a 3D product reveal. Add one and it is your own copy to edit.
  • Use your own ChatGPT or Claude plan for the AI instead of an OpenRouter key: Settings → AI. ChatGPT signs in on OpenAI’s page; the Claude plan runs your own Claude Code, and Cutscript never sees your password or login. Pictures still use your OpenRouter or fal.ai key.
  • Click anything in the preview to select it: its clip is selected on the timeline and the right sidebar shows its settings.
  • The timeline has cleaner clips: one solid colour with a soft edge, no dashed marks, transitions as small labelled blocks, and a zoom or layout that crosses a cut is one block you can move, trim and extend.
  • Graphics from earlier betas open, play and export exactly as before.
